About Rechargeable Battery Materials

To enable our customers to produce even better performing batteries we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. What you will be doing?

Because of RBM’s growth, digitalization targets and increased focus on automotive, a wide range of projects were started over the past years, requiring support and consolidated input from the Supply team.

Under the guidance and direction of the Supply Chain & Projects Manager, for all products of the Supply Team, you will be responsible for:


Operational supply chain management (S&OE – 18 months outlook)

  • Share information to the Supply Team for all metals, such as sales forecast, production planning, raw material demand.
  • Closely monitor and update the latest info of raw material shipment schedules, actual arrivals, actual stocks and consumption.
  • Ensure engagement of internal stakeholders in understanding and actively participating in the overall supply chain management.
  • Aligning the supply chain between RBM Operation, Supply Chain Management and Supply Team. Take responsibility to review the raw material planning and align the supply structure per month.
  • Manage the raw materials side for all RBM related outsourcing or tolling partners.
  • Represent Supply Team during the regular meetings towards RBM Process Technology Industrialization department: review and update the new raw material or new supplier qualifications.

Structure, develop, harmonize and integrate processes, procedures tools and systems

  • Improve existing and/or support development of new integrated systems and tools for follow-up of raw materials in cooperation with BP&IT, Back Office, production department, and finance department.
  • Harmonize and standardize the supply related processes and procedures over the different plants.
  • Suggest and implement efficiency improvements
  • Structure and simplify master data management in different systems related to suppliers and raw materials.

Optimize capital employed and Stock management

  • Analysis of aged stock and follow-up on actions to reduce obsolete inventory.
  • Monitor stock targets to minimize capital employed and guarantee raw material availability.
  • Prepare the quarterly Stock Steerco meeting for the raw material inventories.

Anaplan project:

  • The project goal is to align short-term (S&OE), medium-term (S&OP) and long-term (BOP) planning in one, integrated environment. The Jr. Supply Chain Manager will need to support in blueprinting/developing, integration, optimization, testing and training of the Anaplan tool for the S&OE horizon.

You are an ideal candidate for us as you:

  • Have a Master Degree (preferably in Business, Finance or Commercial engineering)
  • Have 3 to 5 years of work experience in an international setting,
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and/or Business Intelligence platforms
  • Are able to handle high complexity.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing reliable, high quality work in a timely manner.
  • Are team player with empathy
  • Are analytical, critical and accurate
  • Are capable of synthesizing problems
